Project Design

I chose wood as my material instead of acrylic because I wanted the box to be easliy customisable with paint sticking to wood more easliy than acrylic. I took my design out from fusion 360 and brought it to the laser cutter to cut the box out.

I design the small circuit that would light up when the box is open and turn off when the box is close. It seemed simple but it took a while to figure it out. All the online resourse was mainly for if theres light the LED would turn on and when there is no light the LED would turn off. It took awhile but I got it in the end. I just didn't have enough time to change it into a smaller circuit board to fit it into my box.

My final product below after the 6 months of this module. The box with its main compartment with the "secret" compartment for the circuit and smaller presious items.
